About Swimkids of Georgia

A woman-owned swim school dedicated to life-saving skills, confident swimmers,
and safer families in Cumming, Georgia.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to teach children life-saving water skills first, then build confident swimmers for life. We believe drowning is preventable, and that early survival swim instruction can make all the difference for families in our community.

Our Story

SwimKids of Georgia was founded in 2007 by Nadyne Siegel-Brown, a survival swim instructor with decades of experience teaching aquatic safety. After seeing families struggle to find effective water safety programs, she created SwimKids to offer a better solution for parents in Cumming and North Georgia.

Built around the life-saving float-to-swim method, SwimKids teaches infants and toddlers how to float, breathe, and stay calm in the water — often in just a few weeks. Every lesson is private and tailored to the individual child, because real safety requires focused, personalized instruction.

Today, SwimKids has helped thousands of children learn to survive and thrive in the water. While we’ve grown, our mission remains the same: protect children, empower parents, and make water safety the priority.
